Celebrated my 20th yesterday.

I received a lemon and orange cake as a not-so-surprising-surprise from my friends cheryl, jemma, and shandi the eve of my birthday.

Yesterday…

I had the cutest surprise at work! My managers, head chef, and co-workers sang ♫happy birthday♫ along with a triple choc mousse cake + 20 candles and a card in the middle of the store. awkward much! 3 of my co-workers gave me gifts as well in the form of:

After work, I had dinner and drinks with some friends at Joey’s on burrard.

I must say, their vanilla apple mojito is so good that it’s dangerous. REALLY.

Yet again, I received another cake from the aussies, ryan and melissa. — it tasted more like an ice cream if you ask me..even better.

I am truly grateful for all the heartfelt greetings! There’s just too many of them and I really want to reply to each but well. haha.

2009 wasn’t that great for me. In fact, it was and it still is a bitch. I am just happy that at least for one week, I felt blessed.
